The Elevator Game: How to Travel to the Other Side (If You're Batsh*t Brave)
This is not a game for the faint-hearted.
It’s an urban legend that originated in Korea and spread across the dark corners of the internet like cursed glitter.
It’s said to be a ritual - not a game - and if you do it correctly, you can access an alternate reality.
But if you mess up?
Let’s just say… you don’t always come back whole.
Or at all. 💀
🚨 The Ingredients:
You’ll need:
-
A building with at least 10 floors
-
An elevator
-
You. Alone.
(Don’t be cute and bring backup. That’s how you both disappear.)
👁️ The Ritual:
-
Get in the elevator alone.
-
Press the following floors in this exact order:
4 → 2 → 6 → 2 → 10 → 5 -
On the 5th floor, a woman may enter.
DO. NOT. LOOK. AT. HER.
DO. NOT. SPEAK. TO. HER.
She is not human. She’s said to be a demon, spirit, or entity testing you.
If you acknowledge her, she may keep you. -
After she enters, press the 1st floor.
-
If the elevator goes down: you're safe. Abort.
-
If the elevator goes up to the 10th floor instead…
🎉 CONGRATS! You're in the Other World.
-
🕯️ The Other Side:
If you step out onto the 10th floor:
-
It will look like your world, but it’s not.
-
The power might be out.
-
You’ll see a red cross in the sky.
-
You’ll feel alone - like no one else is alive.
-
Your phone? Won’t work.
-
Mirrors? Act weird.
-
Some people report seeing shadows moving in the distance, or hearing footsteps that follow them - but nothing’s there.
You are not supposed to explore.
You’re supposed to get back in the elevator and reverse the sequence:
5 → 10 → 2 → 6 → 2 → 4 → 1
But here’s the kicker:
You might not be alone anymore. 👁️
Some say the woman follows you.
Some say another version of you is already in the elevator when you return.
And if you faint, lose consciousness, or exit on the wrong floor?
You may never come back.
🔮 Warnings from Survivors (allegedly):
-
One girl claimed her reflection stopped moving and started smiling on its own.
-
Another said she returned to her world, but things were slightly off - her dog growled at her, her family acted strange, mirrors distorted her face.
-
A guy who played it said he’s seen the woman in dreams ever since - and she’s getting closer.
🖤 Moral of the cursed elevator ride?
Some doors aren’t meant to be opened.
Some buttons aren’t meant to be pushed.
And if a woman enters and her feet aren’t touching the floor - you RUN THAT ELEVATOR LIKE YOUR SOUL DEPENDS ON IT. Because it probably does.
Would you play the Elevator Game?
Do you believe in other dimensions - or are we just flirting with psychosis here?
Have you already played and just don’t remember coming back?
Drop your reality-check in the comments, babe.
And maybe leave a light on in the hallway tonight.
